Your new 911 will have a GT3 look.

UPDATE: Motor1.com reached Porsche to inquire about the Aerokit. The third brake light is integrated into the rear wings. According to the company, the combination of the parts improves driving performance by reducing lift on the front axle and rear axle. Additionally, Weissach engineers have created downforce even with the sunroof open. This is the first time such a feat has been achieved at Porsche. ” According to Frank Wiesman, Porsche spokesperson, “Vehicles ordered directly from the factory with this option will arrive at dealers in the first half 2020,” Motor1.com reported. “We expect to offer a Tequipment option for vehicles that are already in production by the summer 2020. ”

Although there is nothing new in the 992-generation Porsche 911 model, this Porsche 911 still has the Aerokit option, which is not yet available for delivery. The most notable addition to this package is the large fixed rear wing. It won’t arrive until the second half of 2020.

The Aerokit costs Porsche $6,910. The Aerokit includes elements from the $48,890 SportDesign Package. It also features a new front fascia, with a mixture of body color for the air intakes as well matte black on the C-shaped cornerblades. The rear bumper is also updated with a matte black diffuser and a lower section that’s body-colored. The Aerokit is separated from the SportDesign Package by the large wing. Aerokit wings have a thin airfoil with small uprights. The 991.191 911 GT3 is a close contemporary comparison, but that design also has thicker parts on the edges and endplates (see the comparison below).

Aerokit parts dress up the 911’s appearance but don’t go too far. This option box is a great alternative to the GT3 if you don’t want the extra performance or patience required to wait for the 992 version. The new Carrera S boasts enticing performance thanks to a 3.0-liter twin turbo flat-six that produces 443 horsepower (330kW). Buyers have the option of rear- or all-wheel drive. A new eight-speed dual-clutch auto or a seven speed manual is available for the C2S/C4S in 2020.
