This truck is not your typical truck.
Kahn, a UnitedKingdom-based automotive fashion house, has been creating unique modifications to vehicles for more than 20 years. With some amazing results, they recently focused their attention on the Mercedes X-Class pick up truck.
The results of an automotive design house adding a body kit to a production vehicle can be very different. Kahn’s rendition of the Mercedes X-Class was perfect in this instance.
Kahn didn’t add any horsepower or wild lift kits, but instead he focused on improving the exterior body panels as well as interior trim. All exterior chrome was replaced by a black trim that is more elegant.
A completely new front bumper distinguishes Kahn’s X-Class model from a stock car. The vented bumper gives the car more aggression and matches the new grill, which is inspired by the AMG GT. Kahn also included larger venting fender flares that greatly improved the appearance of the X-Class.
Kahn finished the exterior look with a set 22-inch wheels. They are available in either a silver trim or all black, depending on which customer prefers. The new exterior treatment adds a lot of presence to the X-Class, while keeping it looking cohesive.
Kahn completely reupholstered both the front and rear seats with contrasting quilted leather. These red-accented seats, which are vastly different from factory seats, give the interior a unique look and retain OEM quality. To keep the interior cohesive, the door cards, dashboard, shifter knob, and dashboard all get similar leather trimmings.
Kahn will sell this exact X Class trim in Diesel or Gas for PS24,000, or $29,000 more than the base price of Mercedes. Kahn currently sells a complete version with the gasoline V6 at PS54,999.00
