Audi has dressed the A3 in black. The A3 Black Edition has a de-chromed grille and 18-inch alloy wheels in a dark titanium. Side windows are tinted.
Black is the right color for the occasion, don’t you think? It’s a color that symbolizes humility and helps us to be respectful in these difficult times.
Audi has released the A3 Black Edition in each of its 3 A3 variants: the 3-door hatchback (fastback), and the 5-door fastback (cabriolet). The Black Edition is available in standard Brilliant Black paint. Other paints are optional and may cost extra. It features a de-chromed front grille and 18-inch alloy wheels from S-line in an exclusive dark-titanium finish. Privacy (tinted glass) extends from the B-pillar on closed-top models. The roll bars and shoulder lines of the cabriolet are black-outlined.
The interior continues the black theme with high gloss Piano black inlays, leather-upholstered sports seats, the S-line and lots of black things, like speaker boxes.
The package is priced at 905 UK Pounds (roughly 952 Euros) and Audi claims that it costs less than buying those options separately with its S-line.
Okay, Audi, we’ll bite. Black is a good choice. We’ll be wearing orange, red and every color in the rainbow once the global depression is over. You’d be wise to be prepared for this.
