After introducing the Megane R.S. 265 in UK back in February, Renault has brought the hot hatch to Australia where it’s scheduled to go on sale towards the end of the month. Compared to the Megane R.S. 250, the new version adds 15 hp and 20 Nm, for a grand total of 265 hp (197 kW / 268 PS) and 265 lb-ft (360 Nm) coming out of that 2.0-liter turbocharged engine linked to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
The standard version of the Renault Sport’s Cup chassis comes with a limited slip differential. The model rides on new 18-inch alloy wheels in black and can be fitted to the R.S. Red Design Pack includes red pin-striping on the F1 blade, rear diffuser, and side protective moldings. The R.S. The front fascia now has two rows of six LEDs with chrome highlights, while the front headlight masks have been darkened.
