2012 Audi RS7 could reach 600 horsepower to surpass the next BMW F10 M5.
Audi could really take the RS7 to the top and surpass the competition in the horsepower race.
According to American car magazine Road & Track rumours suggest that Audi is working on a 600 bhp (608 PS / 547 kW) RS7 performance version of the A7. The engine would be a twin-turbo, 4.0 liter V8.
This power quotient would exceed the output of the next BMW M5(F10), which will be equipped with a 4.4-liter-twin-turbo engine producing 570 horsepower (425 kW/ 578 PS).
Audi’s all-wheel drive Quattro system will be featured on the RS7 to handle all that power. The RS7 will have an adaptive suspension, larger front air intakes, and 19- and 20-inch wheels.
The 2012 Audi RS7 will be available for purchase in the second half of 2012.
