Toyota Pixis Space revealed for Japan

Pixis Space, a rebadged Daihatsu Move Conte is a mini-vehicle with boxy styling and an engine of 660cc.

Toyota Japan has revealed the new Pixis Space.

The PS is Toyota’s first mini vehicle. It was essentially a rebadged Daihatsu Move Conte. While the standard model is quite basic, Custom models are distinguished by an aerodynamic body, HID headlights, and a modified grille.

The 2,490mm wheelbase inside provides ample space for four adults and enough luggage space. It’s a debateable point, but let’s hope you have smaller friends.

Although performance specifications have not been released, the Pixis’ 660cc engine is available in turbocharged or naturally-aspirated versions. It is paired with a continuously variable transmission, regardless of the mill selected. Standard front wheel drive is available, but higher-end models come with four-wheel drive and an eco IDLE start/stop system. This allows the car to return 25.5km/l (60 MPG US/3.9 L/100km) during the 10-15 cycle.
