Viper ACR-X laps Nurburgring in 7:03
SRT Viper ACRX has been showing its skills around Nurbugring, and they were kind enough to share a video. The race car completes a lap of the Green Hell in 7:03.058. It also provides some additional information, including stats on downforce and g force.
This time is just a fraction faster than the Viper ACR production model that did the same lap in 7 minutes 12.13 in September 2013. The Viper ACR took the record lap around Nurburgring in 7:12.13 from the Corvette ZR1.
The Viper ACR-X’s 8.4-liter V10 motor produces 640 horsepower (40 more than the standard model), and it has several performance tweaks. You will find a tuned sports suspension, enhanced aerodynamics, and a complete safety package with a roll cage and fuel cell.
