Although the California isn’t the most exciting Ferrari car, there are a few updates planned for 2012.
CAR reports that the model will feature an optimized ECU as well as a new exhaust system. These tweaks will allow the 4.3-liter V8 to produce 483 horsepower (360 kW/ 490 PS) as well as 505 Nm (373 Lb-ft) of torque. This is an increase of 30 HP (22 kW/ 30 PS) or 20 Nm (15 Lb-ft).
The California will be more powerful and also drop around 30 kg (66 lbs), for better performance.
Although the exterior styling will not change, the cabin will likely have an updated infotainment system. A new handling package is also being discussed with improved magnetorheological dampers, which respond in five milliseconds.
