Dodge will introduce the 2014 Journey Crossroad at Chicago Auto Show.
The Crossroad is designed to fit between the Journey SXT or Limited. It has modified bumpers, revised sides skirts, and a gloss-black grille. The model features tinted headlights and taillights, as well as platinum chrome accents. It also comes with 19-inch Hyper Black alloy wheels.
The interior changes are very limited, but the Crossroad is well equipped with black leather seats and Liquid Graphite trim. It also has a Uconnect infotainment platform with an 8.4-inch screen.
Two engines are found under the hood. The 2.4-liter four cylinder produces 173 horsepower (129 kW), and 166 lbft (225 Nm), while the Pentastar V6 produces 283 bhp (215 kW) as well as 260 lbft (352Nm) of torque. These engines can be connected to automatic transmissions of four- or six-speed, which can also be paired with an optional all-wheel drive system.
The Dodge Journey Crossroad will be on sale in spring. Prices start at $24,995 (not including a $995 destination charge).
