The Audi A4 (B9), the highly anticipated Audi A4, has been captured undergoing final testing.
The highly anticipated Audi A4 (B9) has been spied undergoing final testing without any sort of camouflage.
The all-new Ingolstadt compact sedan is a continuation of the previous model’s design. It does look sharper, with sleek lighting clusters and smaller side windows. Audi engineers may have made the rear doors slightly longer to increase legroom for rear passengers.
The prototype in black likely features full LED taillights, headlights, and taillights. It rides on new alloy wheels. Side mirrors are lower and more curved and are positioned on the doors. The metallic/chrome line appears to start at the upper left corner and continue on the car’s sides and back, above the taillights. The lower portion of the doors has a thicker bar, while the reverse taillights are the small white rectangles on the trunk lid.
The interior photos of the Audi A4’s cabin are not shown in this set. However, one of the attached images shows that the new Audi A4 will have the same free-standing display as the models with the four rings logo.
Audi didn’t bother to camouflage this prototype so there are high chances that an official unveiling will take place soon. The Frankfurt Motor Show will host a public debut in September. Sales will begin shortly after.
