It improves the truck’s appearance.
The Ford F-150 pickup truck is well-known for its cash cow status. There are so many configurations available – the bed length, interior materials, doors, engines, wheels and engine options are all amazing. There are also the various trims, including XL, XLT and Lariat, King Ranch Raptor, Platinum, Limited, and top-tier Limited. This is a large selection for a truck that has an open bed and a passenger compartment. Pickup trucks can only be sliced in so many different ways.
There are so many options, so it shouldn’t surprise that a current-gen F-150 is out on the road, with some updates like this 2019 Ford F-150 Limited, which was recently seen in testing. The visible changes are minimal. The F-150’s top-tier model already has plenty of amenities inside and outside. The rear bumper is the only difference.
The 2019 F-150 Limited has a revised bumper that is integrated with the dual exhaust system. This is similar to the way Ram and GM did with their trucks. Dual exhaust gives the truck an elegant and uniform appearance. The Limited’s exhaust is pushed farther to the corners than other competitors. Ford finally joined the bandwagon. This truck has been a long time in the making and it is finally here.
The 2019 Limited truck will feature Ford’s EcoBoost engine, which is paired with a 10-speed auto transmission. It produces 375 horsepower and 470 pounds-feet torque. The Limited F-150 2019 will have 22-inch aluminum wheels. This is standard on the vehicle and complements its premium appearance.
The dual exhaust is now integrated into the F-150’s rear bumper. This feature should be available across the entire lineup. This option will not be available on every truck. However, if you configure your F-150 correctly, you might be able to choose it. In the coming months, expect something new on the 2019 Ford F-150 Limited.
