The Acadia and Terrain Black Editions have a darker trim for an extra touch of style.
The 2019 GMC Terrain, and Acadia will sport snazzy dark suits to match their Black Edition models. These dressed-up SUVs have dark exterior trim with glossy black highlights. This special package will be available this summer at a price that is still unknown.
Terrain Black Edition is available for the SLE and SLT SUV grades. The package includes 19-inch gloss black wheels and five sets of dual spokes. The grille is frontal and has a matching surround and dark insert. The exterior features include the roof rails and mirror caps, which are adorned with black trim. Buyers don’t need to buy the model in black, as GMC calls it Ebony Twilight Metallic. Other exterior colors include Summit White and Graphite Gray Metallic as well as Satin Steel Metallic and Sedona Metallic.
Only the Acadia Black Edition will be available for the SLT trim. This special model is mounted on 20-inch wheels with black accents. The Terrain also features a matching surround and a dark grille. Black trim is used to decorate the body. It can be found around the taillights, headlights, side mirror caps and roof rails. You can choose from Ebony Twilight Metallic or Summit White, White Frost Tricoat and Smokey Quartz Metallic.
The Acadia and Terrain are both relatively new products. For the 2017 model year the Acadia was introduced. Buyers have the option of a 2.5-liter four cylinder with 193 horsepower (143kilowatts), or a 3.6 liter V6 with 231 hp (231kW). The current Terrain was introduced for the 2018 model-year. It offers a 1.5-liter turbocharged four cylinder with 170-hp (128 kW), and a 2.0-liter turbofour with 252 horsepower (188 kW), as well as a 1.6-liter turbodiesel that produces 137 horsepower (102 kW).
