The introduction of the Plus model with a bigger battery for the 2019 model-year The 2020 Nissan Leaf You can get a few more options. However, the price is higher.
The Nissan Safety Shield 360 driver safety technology suite has been upgraded to become standard equipment. This includes rear automatic braking, pedestrian detection, rear cross traffic alert, blindspot warning and high beam assist. Intelligent Around View Monitor, Intelligent Driver Alertness and Intelligent Driver Alertness are additional features of the SV Technology Package.
A safety update that was made to the Leaf’s pedestrian safety sounds is another. The noises are still constant in forward motion of up to 18.6 miles an hour (30 km per hour) and a pulsing sound in reverse.
The 40-kilowatt hour battery Leaf models now have an eight-inch standard infotainment screen. This feature was previously available for the 62 kWh Leaf Plus. The system supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The 2020 Leaf’s cabin now features more airbags. Both the driver and front passenger are equipped with knee airbags. Rear-mounted side-impact airbags are available for the rear seat.
