According to , the price of the Ford Bronco Sport will rise once more. A number of automakers’ products, including the Escape, will soon see a higher MSRP.
The base Bronco Sport will be $395 more, bringing the starting price up to $28,710 inclusive of destination. The Big Bend grade will cost $400 more. Badlands and the Outer Banks will see a $540 increase.
Cars Direct suggests that the right time to purchase a Bronco Sport is now, if you are in the market. The crossover could be available before the price rise and customers would receive $500 cash bonus, a 0 percent interest-rate on a 48 month loan, and a $500 bonus cash incentive. The Blue Oval is expected to reduce incentives in the next month.
The price of the Bronco Sport has increased by $160 since December 23, 2020. This is an increase of $115 from the original $28,155 destination cost. The crossover will now be $555 more costly than it was when it first hit the market.
Ford has shipped 37,212 Bronco Sport units in the US as of April. It is third among Ford’s SUVs and crossovers, behind 56,670 Escapes and 92,284 Explorer.
Because of its crashworthiness and safety technology, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety awarded the Bronco Sport the Top Safety Pick+ award. The standard Co-Pilot 360 features earned a Superior score for preventing both vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-pedestrian collisions. Top marks were also given to the standard LED projector headslights.
The Bronco Sport is equipped with a turbocharged 1.5 liter three-cylinder that produces 181 horsepower (135 Kilowatts) as well as 190 pound-feet (259 Newton-meters). A turbocharged 2.0-liter four cylinder is also available with 245 horsepower (183 kW) or 275 lbft (259 Nm). There are two options for powertrains: an eight-speed automatic or all-wheel drive.
