Bronco accessories may not work well together.

The 2021 Ford Bronco combines old-school offroad fun with modern conveniences. This SUV can go anywhere and has an optional 12.0-inch infotainment screen inside. It also features a 360-degree camera system that aids off-roaders in navigating the dangerous terrain. Ford also offers a range of aftermarket accessories including the Warn Zeon winch. Some accessories and features of the Bronco may not work together.

One Bronco6G.com forum member discovered that the winch blocks a portion of the forward-facing camera. This obscures the ground in front of the SUV, making it almost useless on trails. Ford Authority reached out to the Blue Oval regarding the problem. The automaker confirmed that the issue was present but also noted that the new Bronco has wheel-spotting cameras, which “help see obstacles ahead of your tires on the trail.” However, those who want the best off-road machine might have to sacrifice some visibility in order to get the winch.
Broncos equipped with a winch or front plate bracket may have had more trouble using the front-facing camera. Photos posted to the Bronco forum in December showed that the plate bracket would be above the winch, and in front the grille. Ford positions the camera between the letters “O” and N in bold BRONCO lettering on the grille. Ford is limited in its options when it comes to where the front license plate should be located.

The first Bronco models will not arrive until a few months later. Ford has received thousands of pre-orders and is facing delays in production due to COVID. Initial deliveries were originally scheduled to start this spring but have been moved to the summer. Ford will not begin reviewing submitted orders until May. This is when it will provide an estimated delivery window for customers who are still waiting. Waiting customers could also receive $300 towards accessories like winches.
