Already, the Wrangler 4xe is very popular. Stellantis claims it is the most-sold PHEV vehicle in America in the second quarter 2021. The company did not release the exact number of units sold during that period.
The Wrangler4xe plug-in hybrid was second in sales in April with an average of 10.5 days. Average transaction price was $57.161. It was only the Chevrolet Corvette that came in second, lasting just 9.2 days before it found a buyer.
The Wrangler will not be the only PHEV in Jeep’s lineup for long. The Stellantis EV Day presentation by the division stated that it will have a 4xe variant for every segment of SUV the company owns by 2025.
Grand Cherokee 4xe is expected to be the first of the new PHEVs. It is also confirmed that a plug in hybrid version of Gladiator pickup has been developed.
