For just below $100,000, you can get a two-door Super Snake Sport with the exact same power.
A new option is available for those who love flashy pickups with high horsepower. This is a classic recipe, but 2021 will see a new version with the Ford F-150. Shelby’s Super Snake truck returns, but it will cost you a little more to own that much power and pizzaz.
Under the hood, there are more tweaks. A complete suspension upgrade is also available for the truck, including coilovers front and rear, as well as adjustable shocks at both the front and back. A new upper control arm, rear traction bars and rear sway bar were added. Two-door Super Snake trucks have their suspension lowered and upgraded. The corners are adorned with 22-inch wheels and high-performance street tires. This truck was not designed for off-roading.
It can still turn all four wheels, however. Shelby upgrades can be fitted to Ford F-150 XLT Lariat 4-wheel models. However, the Shelby body kit may not like crawling on trails. A new front fascia will be fitted with a splitter at the bottom, ground effects along both sides, a painted rear bumper and fender flares. There’s also a Shelby grille. You’ll also find Shelby branding inside, including tinted windows and billet pedals. Every truck comes with a CSM-numbered dash plaque that identifies its production number.
Shelby will make 600 F-150 Super Snakes in 2021, 300 with two doors and 300 four-doors. Pricing will vary depending on the body type and power choice, as the supercharged V8 doesn’t have to be used. The Super Snake Sport will cost you $113,680. However, if you choose to stick with the 400-hp (298.2-kW), V8 in a 2-door, the price drops to $90,790. The Super Snake Sport two-door model comes with a supercharged V8 and the Super Snake Sport four-door comes in at $105,708.
