This is how Audi’s new electric vehicle stacks up against Lucid Porsche, Tesla, and Tesla.
The 2022 Audi E-Tron GT has finally arrived. The Audi first electric sedan is built on Porsche Taycan foundations, but has a few design elements and interior cues that make it stand out from its distant cousin. The E-Tron GT has two electric motors, more horsepower, and a range-topping RS version. The E-Tron GT is slightly more expensive than the Porsche, but it has more power.
Performance
The E-Tron GT has a standard dual-motor configuration, which is different from the Taycan’s new base rear-motor arrangement. The motor’s front permanent synchronous motor generates 235 horsepower (175kilowatts), while the motor at the rear produces 429 HP (320 kW). The total system output is 469 horsepower (350 kW), or up to 522 HP (390 kW), and 472 pound feet (630 newton meters) when using the overboost function. With launch control active, overboost provides an additional boost of power for 2.5 seconds. The E-Tron GT can reach 60 mph in 3.9 seconds. It will also maintain a top speed of 152 miles per hour.
The Audi E-Tron GT is faster than the RS model, which has a stronger rear motor. The back motor now produces 450 horsepower (335kW) and 612lb-ft (830Nm) respectively. With overboost, 637 HP (475kW) is available. The RS E-Tron GT can reach 60 in 3.1 seconds, and has a maximum speed of 155 mph. This makes the EV 60 times faster than an R8.

Range and Charging
The Audi E-Tron GT has a 93.4-kilowatt-hour Lithium-Ion battery pack. This is the same unit as the Taycan Turbo S. It can charge from 5 percent to 80 percent on DC fast chargers in just 22.5 minutes. Audi claims it has the fastest charging rate of any EV currently on sale.
The range of the base E-Tron GT GT is 238 miles. The range of the RS E-Tron GT GT is an estimated 232 miles. EPA has not certified these figures.
