2022 Ford Bronco Four-Door Wildtrack Fourdoor With Soft Top Confirmed

It partially eliminates the problems with hard top availability.

According to Bronco Nation, the 2022 Ford Bronco Wildtrak four door will now have a soft roof as standard. The hard top prep kit will come with it, but the hard top is an option.

People who place an unscheduled Bronco order with a hardtop are unlikely to receive their vehicles until 2022.

Bronco’s hard top has been a problem in production for some time. This was due to production problems and then the coronavirus epidemic. The black-painted modular hardtop or dual-top roof was not available until the model year 2022.

Ford attempted to alleviate the pain at that time by offering anyone who purchased the hard top and chose to switch to 200,000 FordPass Rewards points, which was worth $1,000. A sound-deadening headliner was also offered by the Blue Oval, which was valued at $495. A $250 voucher was also available to purchase a Bronco Off-Rodeo driving experience.

Bronco production was limited to a few people who received a hard top. The outer surface showed a honeycomb- or snakeskin-like design. The headliner was also separating from its roof. The material loss caused small cracks and fading of the raw edges.

Ford decided to replace its molded-in color hard tops because the problems were too severe. The campaign caused delays in the production of roofs for the new Bronco units.

The Bronco is still very popular among buyers despite these issues. According to Ford, 70% of buyers are not currently owning a Blue Oval product. About 125,000 people actually placed orders from the SUV’s 190,000 online reservations.
