Ford F-150 pricing increases.
It’s the time of year when automakers adjust their prices as we approach the end of 2021. Ford has been busy adjusting their prices, with the Edge and Mustang Mach–E experiencing increases over the last few months.
The automaker’s top-selling model, the F-150 gets a price increase. This isn’t the first time the fourteenth-generation model got a price bump. Ford raised its MSRP in December, just months after the model’s debut in June 2020. Although the increase was not as significant last year, it is quite significant for the model year 2022.
CarsDirect has determined that the 2022 F-150 is going to be $2,280 more costly than the current batches. However, this does not apply to all Ford models. Which trim level receives this substantial increase?
This would be the F-150 Limited, which is the most expensive, top-spec version of America’s best-selling truck. The base price for that model will start at $75,150. This is just the two-wheel drive model. The sticker goes up to $78,575 if you choose the four-wheel-drive version. If you choose to check all options, the F-150 Limited 4-x4 will easily surpass the $80,000 mark.
However, not all people will purchase an F-150 equipped with all the bells and whistles. The majority of models will see an increase in retail price by $215. The entry-level XL 4×2 Regular Cab sees a slight increase of $350. It goes up from $30.985 to $31,335 plus a destination fee. Dealers will likely offer holiday deals.
