Take a look at the truck’s new visual appearance.
It has been one month since Ford unveiled the 2022 Maverick. Its bite-sized pickup received 36,000 reservations in the first days was released. The 2022 Maverick will be available for purchase later in the year. Customers will be able choose the First Edition trim when it arrives. Ford is yet to detail. However, MaverickTruckClub.com has an image purported to come right from Ford’s marketing team that gives us our first look at the hotly anticipated new model.
These accents are part of a graphics package that will include the hood and lower doors. This package will complement the standard high-gloss black roof. Black mirror caps, soft tonneau covers, body-color door handles and gloss-black-painted 17-inch wheels are just a few of the upgrades available. The Maverick’s Lariat trim is used to build the First Edition model.
When it arrives in the fall, the Maverick is going to be below Ranger. The new truck shares its foundations with Ford Escape, Bronco Sport and is intended to be an affordable option within the automaker’s range. It offers a combination of technology, utility, cost, and fuel economy that is appealing. Ford claims that the entry-level model, a 2.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid with 191 horsepower (142kW), will return 40 MPG in the city.
Ford has not yet confirmed when production will begin, but the automaker said it would. The price of the Maverick can go up to $42,835. However, it will start at $19,995 (includes the $1,495 destination fee), making it one the most affordable hybrid vehicles available.
