This is the Indonesian translation of the crossover.
Hyundai teased a updated Creta version in October, and now the tiny crossover is making its official debut. We knew from the beginning what the major visual changes would be and we now know that the model will get a front fascia inspired the Hyundai Tucson.
The new Creta is displayed at the Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), and the model will be first introduced in this market. The official ceremony was photographed by a team that we had with us. The official gallery for the Creta’s press is located below.
The front is where the most noticeable changes are. The crossover gets a new grille that has a more prominent design and integrated lights within the grille. This is just like the new Tucson. The bumper also has some tweaks. It now receives a silver trim that forms a large X with the upper portion of the front fascia.
The back has a few minor changes. There is a slight addition to the inner corners of the taillights. The bumper’s lower portion has been modified to match the front-end design. The bumper’s bottom is adorned with a thin, body-colored stripe that matches the front. This is the Creta that’s intended for Indonesian markets. The versions for Brazil or Russia might differ.
The new 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster replaces the 7-inch display. Depending on trim level, the standard and optional Bose sound systems will come with 8 speakers and 8-inch multimedia with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The Creta’s Indonesian counterpart has a 1.5-liter, naturally-aspirated four cylinder engine that produces 115 horsepower (86 megawatts). You can choose between a 6-speed manual gearbox and a CVT auto.
