2022 Jeep Commander Teaser Video: The Interior of the Jeep Commander

A full debut is planned for later in the year.

Jeep has created a new seven-seat SUV exclusively for Latin America. The new model will be called Commander and will be revealed in full during the second half. We were able to see the interior of the three-row Jeep for the first time since April.

This short video reveals some of the secrets of the cabin, including a selection high-quality materials used for the dashboard, seats and door panels as well as a beautifully crafted center console featuring a Jeep logo on its front armrest.

The teaser video then shows the rear seats, which feature the same leather upholstery as the front with a checkered design. The rear seats have two air vents and a USB port to charge smart devices. The second row can be folded completely down to create a flat surface, giving you easy access to the third row, which has two additional USB sockets.

It is worth noting that the Commander will be available, at least in an optional, with what appears to be a fully-digital instrument cluster. The infotainment system features a redesigned steering wheel as well as a 10.1-inch display.

The interior may look familiar to you. There’s a good reason. The Commander, which will seat seven people, will be based on the smaller Compass. It will also ride on Jeep’s Small Wide platform. This platform is also used by Renegade. It will be available with either a front-wheel drive system or an AWD system, depending on which model is chosen. Although the engine range is still unknown, reports indicate that there will be an AWD model with a powerful diesel option.

In a few months, the Commander will be making its debut. It will be made in Brazil, and it will come with either standard or optional features like lane departure warning, blind spot alert, automatic emergency brake, and a brand new multimedia system.
