2022 Kia Sportage Full Designs Reveals Sharp Looks and Two-Tone Cabin

Finally, the fifth-generation model makes its global debut in design.

After several prototype sightings and teasers, Kia finally unveiled the 2022 Sportsage. The completely redesigned model is now in its fifth generation. It debuts globally with its new design, “Opposites United,” using the automaker’s new design philosophy.

The Kia Sportage has a more detailed fascia than the EV crossover. It features distinct lighting elements that are reminiscent the K5. The most important thing is that the new model bears Kia’s new badge.

The Digital Tiger Face is also seen in the 2022 Kia Sportage. The black meshed grille covers the entire fascia, as it should. While the boomerang-shaped DRLs seperate it from the low-mounted headlamps, the DRLs are boomerang-shaped.

The fifth-generation Sportage’s sides have clean lines that accentuate the smooth body surface. A global model comes with a black roof as an option. The new wheel design emphasizes the profile. Rear gets broad shoulders and LED tail lamps.

The interior of the Kia Sportage features a modern cabin design. This is highlighted by the curving display that combines instrument and infotainment. The two-tone cabin is highlighted by the air vents. The all-new Sportage also features a knob to control the gearshifter, although details about the gearbox are not available at this time.

Kia stated that bright colors are available to highlight the high-quality materials used inside the cabin. However, this will depend on your trim level and availability in your area. The automaker revealed that the new Sportage X-Line will come with a unique bumper and side sill as well as a curved roof rack. The X-Line interior can be ordered with bold quilting or black metal wood and sage green or schwarz seating.

The full launch of the 2022 Kia Sportage in global markets will take place later this year. More information about its powertrain, and other important details will be available as that date approaches.
