2022 Kia Stinger Scorpion Edition Arrives As Sportier Looking Sedan

It comes with matching wheels and black body trim.

The 2022 Kia Stinger Scorpion special edition will give the sedan sporty styling touches. Limited to 250 units per month, the company will release the model in limited batches. Prices start at $52,585 with rear-wheel drive and $54,785 all-wheel drive. Both require a $1045 destination fee. These prices are based on the GT2 trim level of the sedan.

The exterior details of the Stinger Scorpion Special Edition include black mirror caps and fender trim. A body-color rear spoiler is available. The exhaust tips are dark. The wheels are 19-inch and 10-spoke with a black finish. The body comes in Snow White Pearl or Aurora Black as well as Ceramic Silver.

A few minor touches are made to the interior. The cabin has a faux carbon fiber trim. Nappa leather upholstery is available in red and black.

The Stinger has been updated by Kia for the model year 2022. To replace the 2.0-liter engine, the new 2.5-liter four-cylinder turbocharged delivers 300 horsepower (422 kilowatts), and 311 pound-feet (422 Nm) of torque. The sedan can reach 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 5.2 seconds thanks to the new engine.

The twin-turbocharged, 3.3-liter V6 produces 368 horsepower (274 kW)

A light strip that runs between the taillights and the front bumper has been added to the exterior. The running lights of the LED headlights are now redesigned. Standard equipment includes a 10.25-inch touchscreen to control the infotainment system. The standard instrument cluster has a 4.2-inch screen. Buyers can upgrade to a display measuring 7.0 inches.

The price for the 2022 Stinger is $36,090 in the GT-Line class. A GT1 with V6 costs $43,690 and a GT2 at $51,290.
