If you’re curious about the price of the fully loaded model, visit the company’s website. You can also max out the configurator which is currently up and running. The final price is in the neighborhood of $40,000.

How did we get here? The starting price for the Limited trim is $30,495 higher, while the six-speed automatic will cost you an additional $1,800. Although there aren’t any packages available, the Limited comes standard with lots of Subaru features. However, 44 accessories are included, some of them quite unusual for a sports coupe.

The 2022 BRZ can be ordered with a carbon fiber license plate frame ($119.95) and a Subaru-branded oil cap ($69.95), plus Subaru Tecnica International-branded goodies like the STI door handle protector ($29.95) and STI valve stem caps ($14.95). Additional STI items can be purchased for the rear-wheel-drive model at an additional cost. This includes a custom-designed start button ($245.95), and a sportier shift knob (215) for both manual and automatic versions.

If you want to make your BRZ more aggressive, there are two options: a trunk spoiler ($349.95) or a rear bumper diffuser ($699.95). The front fender vent accent ($139.95), adds a sportier look to the vehicle’s side. A Vortex Generator ($130) is also listed by the configurator. It consists of aero fins that are mounted at the roof’s junction with the rear window.

Subaru isn’t forgetting about your four-legged friend. The new BRZ comes with a pet harness ($79.99), a pet travel box ($39.99), and a license plate frame ($34.95), in matte black or stainless with “Pet Lover” lettering and cute paw prints. The pet carrier comes with a mobile pet bed ($199.99), four-size pet harness, and a medium or small pet bowl.

You can also get an ashtray (27.95), LED dome light ($68), LED footwell lighting ($210), exterior graphics kit (225), door protector ($105), rear bumper applicator ($129) and door edge guards (105). Other items include an all-weather floor liner ($65), a battery warmer ($55.98), a sunshade ($80) and an auto-dimming with compass (HomeLink) ($355).

The STI side, front and rear under spoilers are available for $1,239.85. There are also upgrades for your trunk: cargo tray ($120), cargo net (90), and cargo organizer (69.95). Car covers cost $139 and can be stored inside a bag that costs $14.95. The new Subaru BRZ could cost up to $40,000.

The pricing for the 2022 Toyota GR 86 sister model has not yet been revealed. However, it is likely that it won’t be much different considering how similar the cars are.
