2022 Toyota Corolla Cross Pricing Announced, Goes On Sale In October

FWD is the standard, AWD optional.

The Toyota Corolla Cross has made its US debut in June and will be available in showrooms across the country within a matter of weeks. The new Japanese crossover will be available for purchase starting in October. This price includes handling and $1,215, as well as the destination fee.

The Corolla Cross will only be offered with one engine option while it is being assembled in the USA at the Mazda Toyota Manufacturing plant, Huntsville, Alabama. Three months ago, the automaker announced that the crossover would be available with a hybrid powertrain.

A 2.0-liter gasoline engine, with 169 horsepower (126kilowatts), and 150 pound-feet (223 newton-meters), is the only option. It sends power to either the front wheels or both at an additional $1,300. The Corolla Cross LE is priced at $24,545 FWD, while the more expensive XLE starts at $26,325. The XLE AWD model, which costs $27,625, is the most expensive 2022 Corolla Cross.

The base L grade is equipped with a 7-inch multimedia screen, rear HVAC vents and remote keyless entry. There are also two USB ports and LED taillights and headlights. Upgrade to the LE for wireless charging, 17 inch alloy wheels, leather wrapped steering wheel, heated side mirrors, and two USB ports. The XLE range-topper includes 18-inch wheels, a 10-way driver’s seat with power and dual-zone climate control.

Toyota stated that there would be more next year when it presented the new crossover. Customers won’t need to wait long before they can choose a hybrid powertrain.
