2022 Toyota Tundra Priced From $35,950, Returns Up To 20 MPG

The new model’s starting price is nearly $2,000 more than the previous model.

Toyota today announced pricing details for the revamped full-size pickup after revealing its all-new Tundra in September. The Ford F-150 competitor starts at $35,000. This includes $1,695 for destination fees. It is therefore $1,925 more than the model it replaces. This was due to the adoption of a multilink rear suspension and the switching to an all-new platform.

We will also find out the fuel economy figures for large trucks that use the gasoline-only engine. This returns up to 20 mpg in 4×2 configuration, and slightly less than 19 mpg in 4×4. Both represent the efficiency of the combined cycle. We will soon be able to reveal the fuel economy figures for hybrid.

The most expensive electrified version of the model will cost $61,020 before pricing is announced. This includes options and destination fees. Although the 1794 edition CrewMax has the 6.5-foot bed and the high sticker price, it is possible that the Tundra’s maximum cost will rise in the future.

The 2022 model year will see the introduction of a more luxurious trim level, Capstone. It will take on the F-150 Limited. The Toyota Motor Manufacturing Texas (TMMTX), San Antonio, spotted it with its hybrid powertrain and lots of chrome accents. The i-Force Max is a potential upscale version that could be priced at around $70,000, with all of the options checked.

Below is a document that shows the full pricing details of the 2022 Toyota Tundra, a gas-only model.

The third-generation Tundra should arrive in dealerships by the end of this year. It should be followed soon enough by its SUV sibling the Sequoia.

The next-generation Tacoma truck, which is smaller than the previous generation, was spotted for the first time last month. It could be on sale in the next two years. Rumours suggest that the pickup will be paired with the Hilux global model, which Toyota sells in the United States.
