You don’t often see a pickup truck with back-to-back capabilities.
You’re driving along a highway and enjoying a peaceful drive to a destination far away. You then see a Chevrolet truck coming towards you. The driver appears unaware of the fact that he is going the wrong direction. You realize that it is actually moving with the traffic flow and not backwards. It’s confusing right?
This is what people might have thought when they saw the back-to-back 1976 Silverado Silverado cruise along an unassuming highway, like it wasn’t looking strange at all. It has its front-end literally on its back, making the car look like Frankenstein if it had chosen to drive cars. Perhaps a Hindu god, ready to destroy your soul if you refuse to repent.
Even more bizarre is the fact that the truck has a taillight on its “headlights” section. This makes it even more confusing and sinister. It’s almost like the devil’s pickup truck performing a bizarre prank that’s not funny for everyone. This could be a very bad day for anyone who has seen it, and is unable to sleep. It is, however, funny and interesting for us.
We are curious to know what the creators thought. Perhaps “Hey, I have an extra set for a Silverado’s head, let’s merge it with yours, front-to-back.” It would be very funny.” Or, “I want a sedan but I prefer it big and bold as a Silverado.” You can stop saying more. It was an interesting conversation.
It didn’t matter what their thought process was, it was vibrant and out of the ordinary. The driver looked confused and unsure at the end, as if he’s driving something unusual. This guy could win an Oscar.
