There are several options for the 2020 Toyota 4Runner: Limited, SR5, TRD Off Road, Limited and TRD Pro. Toyota will expand the SUV’s extensive range at the State Fair of Texas this year with the 4Runner Venture Edition.
Although the exterior of this 4Runner may not seem like a “special edition”, the devil is in its details. Unique touches include a Yakima Megawarrior standard roof rack (crossbars are included) that measures 52 inches in length, 48 inches wide and 6.5 inches high. This is some serious roof storage.
TRD logos are plentiful on the exterior, including 17-inch TRD tires, blacked out badges and accents, as well as TRD logos. The Venture Edition 4Runner’s interior gets extra protection from all-weather floor mats and a standard rear cargo mat. There are also additional storage options in the trunk, making this 4Runner an ideal choice for pack rats.

The 4Runner Venture Edition does not skimp on offroad capabilities. All versions retain the same body-on frame construction, four-link rear axle and coil spring suspension. A part-time four wheel drive and a two speed transfer case are also available. Crawl Control is standard on the Venture Edition (essentially off-road cruise control).
