It will bridge the gap between CT5 Sport & CT5-V.
We saw the changes Cadillac is making to its sedan lineup last month. Even though they are only in their second year, the 2021 Cadillac CT4 as well as CT5 will see significant updates.
Cadillac will offer a new package, however, for the CT5 Sport trim. According to a report from GM Authority The CT5 Sport will receive a V Performance Package to help bridge the gap between V-Series and Sport trims.
The V Performance Package, as the name suggests, adopts performance enhancements from the V-Series trim. These are then added to CT5 Sport. The upgrades include the performance suspension and mechanical limited-slip differential. The fourth generation of GM’s suspension technology provides a 45 percent quicker damping response than its predecessor.
Buyers will need to select the Brembo V Performance brakes in order to get the V Performance Package. The RWD model is not available when used on all fours.
The CT5 Sport with V Performance package will receive the majority of updates in the 2021 model year. The updated infotainment system includes an improved 12-inch digital instrument cluster with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration. Exterior paint colors like Red Obsession Tintcoat or Royal Spice Metallic will no longer be available. They will be replaced by Infrared Tintcoat. Rift metallic paint can only be used for the CT4-V or CT5-V.
GM Authority did not report pricing for the V Performance Package for CT5 Sport. However, it is expected that this information will be released in the coming months or when the configurator goes live for the 2021 model year.
