That is what we can do.
We consider the Mercedes-AMG GT a classic. This vehicle has everything it takes to be a collector’s item, with lots of power, beautiful aesthetics and a limited production. It’s more than a garage queen, it’s a highly capable machine that can be driven on the roads. What is it capable of? Capable of traveling 188 miles an hour (302 km per hour).
A new video has been uploaded by the AutoTopNL channel to YouTube. It takes us aboard a Mercedes AMG GT C Roadster and allows for high-speed runs on the Autobahn. The most powerful Mercedes-AMG GT C Roadster is able to perform well on the German highway.
A 4.0-liter twin turbo V8 engine powers this yellow beast. It produces a peak output 557 horsepower (410 Kilowatts) as well as 501 pound-feet (680 Newton meters) of torque. The GT C version has a wider body than the GT GT GT and active rear steering. These features are not available in other AMG GT models. The acceleration from 0 to 62 mph (0-100 km/h) takes only 3.7 seconds, and the maximum speed is 196 MPH (316 kph).
The Mercedes-AMG GT is at home on the Autobahn, as you can probably guess. The sports car from Stuttgart feels at home at speeds of 124 mph (200 km/h) and higher. In some sections, the AMG GT reaches 186 mph (325 kph). This video shows the highest speed at which the vehicle can reach is 188 mph (302 km/h). The vehicle stays very stable on the road, but the wind is quite noticeable. This is to be expected for an open-top vehicle, and the V8’s roar can still be heard in the background.
This car was purchased from a Mercedes dealer and used as a demonstration car. The description of the video indicates that the ESP could not be completely deactivated. It also acted extremely capriciously as can be seen at the 3:00 mark.
