Auto Shanghai will soon be the first to see the updated Karma Revero.
The Karma Revero has returned – although we aren’t sure where it went. Chinese investors bought Henrik Fisker’s hybrid brainchild in 2015. The new company quietly launched a refreshed prototype with an updated name. Now, it seems that the Revero will be getting a second reset with BMW.
Karma Revero’s new and improved version, which will debut at Auto Shanghai 2019,, uses BMW’s TwinPower three cylinder turbocharged engine. Although the two companies first collaborated in 2015, we are only now seeing their collaboration in action. Karma’s twin electric motor drive system, high-voltage NMC battery pack and high-voltage NMC gas engine work together to improve the sedan’s 60 mph (96 km/h) speed by one second. In just 4.5 seconds, the 2020 Karma Rever will reach 60.
Bob Kruse is Karma’s Chief Technology officer. “We developed a world-class electric vehicle drive that meets the performance and packaging needs of the new Revero,” Kruse said. The new 2020 Revero, along with a number of technological advances, is as fast and as beautiful as it looks.
Kruse points out that this is not a mere mechanical update. The 2020 Karma Revero gets a new look. This teaser shows more than the first and gives hints about the Revero’s new profile The first image The March release of, which showed Revero’s new lines, was released.
To see the Revero fully, we’ll need to wait for Auto Shanghai to open its doors. Karma promises to release a “Big Three” line of products in Shanghai. The Pininfarina-styled Vision Concept will be released alongside the new Karma. However, we expect the third model of Karma to be an SUV concept.
