Heffner Performance released a clip showing its Audi R8-based twin turbo supercar moving from third to fourth gear.
This clip shows the Hefner-treated Audi R8 changing from second to fourth on the freeway. The car’s true power potential can’t be seen on video, as is the case with most video footage. However, the car’s pull should be very intense in real life.
Heffner wants a factory-like look and feel for their twin turbo system. Customers should get more than the standard car, but not feel like they have to visit a garage mechanic to do that.
The car currently has a 6PSI engine and an 11.8:1 fuel/air ratio. After consuming 100 octane gasoline, it produces 536 rear wheel horsepower. However, it should be able to produce around 600 rwhp. Heffner estimates that these modifications will allow it to run quarter-miles in the high-10 second range.
