Volkswagen plans to sell the Beetle Fender Edition at the United States.
The Fender Edition is named after the iconic guitar manufacturer. It features a Deep Black Pearl Metallic exterior, brushed chrome mirrors and Bi-Xenon headlights. Fender’s premium audio system features a unique dashboard, dual-voice coil speakers and a 10-channel amplifier. The total output is 400 watts. V-Tex leatherette seats in Turbo models come with cloth inserts.
Two engines are under the hood. Two engines are available under the hood. The 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine generates 170 HP (125kW) in the entry-level model, while the turbocharged 2.0 4-liter four-cylinder engine creates 200 HP (147kW) in its top-end version.
