French automaker unveils new SUV/crossover that is based on the C4-segment hatchback.
Citroen also revealed the new C4 Aircross, a compact SUV built on the Mitsubishi ASX platform.
Citroen continues to create more variants of each model for its DS-line sub-brand. This stylish crossover is a continuation of their current strategy. The C4 Aircross is available with 18-inch wheels, and it will be available in both 2WD and 4WD versions.
The Citroen C4 Aircross will have two diesel engines: the HDi 110/109 hp and the HDi 150. A 1.6-liter unit produces 110 PS and 270 Nm (199lb-ft), while a 1.5-liter unit generates 150 PS and produces 148 hp and 300 Nm (221lb-ft). The diesels come standard with a six speed manual gearbox. The petrol version has the 1.6i, with 115 PS (85kW /114 hp), 152 Nm (112lb-ft), and a five-speed manual. A 2.0i 150 will only be available in Europe.
The Citroen C4 Aircross will be available in the first half 2012
