After a leak today, several new photos of the Volkswagen CrossBlue Coupe concept were posted online.
The CrossBlue Coupe, a five-door crossover with a Volkswagen-ified exterior, has a sporty front fascia and slim grille. It also features LED headlights. Further back, we see a ventilated roof, matte aluminum trim and plastic body cladding. The model also features a tailgate-mounted spoiler as well as a dual exhaust system integrated into the rear bumper.
The cabin is reminiscent of the original CrossBlue concept . It adopts a minimalist design with flat and angular surface. Highlights include metallic trim, leather seats and gloss black accents. A digital instrument cluster, an infotainment and rear seat entertainment system are also available.
Two electric motors will power the turbocharged V6 engine. The crossover could have a maximum output of 415 horsepower (309 kW) with this setup. The model should be able to accelerate from 0-100 km/h (in 5.9 seconds) and average 3L/100 km (78.4 MPG US/ 94.1 MPG UK), as well as travel up to 20.5 mi (33 km) using electricity.
