It’s almost half of a car so you could probably get it for half the cost.
Update:
Joshuael Alexander Soto posted a Facebook video yesterday that appears to have captured the last moments of the Supra on video. Although we can’t confirm this car is the one, how many Gray 2020 Supra Launch Edition models have a U-shaped front courtesy of a huge tree? It appears that the occupants survived.
Are you looking for a deal on a brand new Toyota Supra model? This one is in dire need of some work. We mean everything starting with the dash forward. Although we’ve seen some shabby Supras since the A90 arrived in dealerships earlier this summer, this is the first time that a properly tampered Supra has been sold at a salvage auction. It is quite the sight.
Supra Smash
Insurance Auto Auctions has the car or any remnants. The car is located at the company’s Dundalk branch, Maryland. There’s no price. The final price of the auction will be decided by the bidders. However, there is no starting price. This raises the question: What’s a 2020 Toyota Supra Launch Edition worth to you?
Although we aren’t collision experts, this job seems daunting. It appears that the impact was round and deep, e.g. a tree. The engine compartment is also affected. It’s possible that the 3.0-liter inline six is not salvageable. Photos show the Supra’s core support pressing against the engine’s front. We’d be cautious about any issues that might not be obvioHowever, it appears that the crumple zones performed their duties. It appears that the greenhouse was not impacted by anything other than airbags everywhere. Although the auction description doesn’t give any information about the collision, it is clear that it was a frontal crash. However, we believe that seat-belted occupants wouldn’t have survived this ordeal without minor injuries.
Arthur Can Fix it:
This car could be used to build a 2JZ-swapped racecar if there aren’t any hidden damage further back. The frame rails at the front can be removed from the engine and hood. Fit the 2JZ and gut the interior. Get new bodywork for the front. This demolished sports car might be able to have a second chance at life for someone who has some skills. The build may not be too costly if the car is in good condition. This will likely end up as a part car, but we have seen some really damaged cars come back to life. It was actually quite recent.
Never Say Die:
The 2020 Toyota Supra launch version was available at dealerships earlier in the year and has an MSRP price of $55,250. How much do you think this wrecked model will fetch at auction? For more information on how to bid, visit the IAAI source link.
