America’s favourite truck is getting a makeover.
We have seen spy photos, videos of Ford’s next F-150. However, these pictures were heavily camouflaged prototypes and did not allow us to see the actual design changes. Designer TheSketchMonkey uses spy material to create a virtual 2021 F-150. This previews the changes that will take place in America’s longest-running nameplate. The result is promising.
The Photoshop master uses a photo from the current F-150 to base his video and attempts to reveal some of the new front fascia touches hidden beneath the camouflage. The combination of the two gives him the final look. It is a slightly more modern F-150 that has a more aggressive exterior and a simpler design. We love the matte black radiator grille.
The new F-150 will be equipped with a large display and better materials inside the cabin to rival the Ram 1500. Driver safety systems that are more robust should be standard equipment.

Although the development and testing of the new truck are still in its infancy, the engine will be upgraded to a HTML8 to replace the 5.0-liter V8. The naturally-aspirated unit will produce 420 horsepower (313 Kilowatts) as well as 420 pound-feet (569 Newton meters) of torque when connected to the 10-speed automatic transmission. It is expected that the 14th generation of this workhorse will arrive in 2021, which would mean it will be available by the end of next. This rendering may give you some ideas if you’re thinking of buying a new F-150. If you’re interested, let us know in the comments below if this design appeals to you.
