More power!
It’s not supercar fast, but it does have supercar power. Mercedes’ turbocharged 2.0-liter four cylinder engine is what powers the A45. It is available in the S version. 416 horsepower (310 Kilowatts) & 369 pound-feet (3500 Newton-meters). It is claimed by Mercedes to be the most powerful four-cylinder production engine ever. The power is transmitted to the wheels by the 8-speed dual-clutch, automatic gearbox and 4Matic+ all wheel-drive system. The A45 can run at speeds up to 168 mph electronically. This is impressive for a turbocharged four-cylinder car. The AMG line continues its respectable performance in a wide range of vehicles. Although it’s a departure from V8 and V12 engines which put the brand on the map but the industry has changed, we now have a Mercedes-Benz of 400+ horsepower that isn’t astronomically priced.
