Garage 54 made a set transparent wheels out of plexiglass. The transparent thermoplastic plexiglass, also known as poly(methyl methacrylate), is used to replace glass and make it shatter-resistant. Although it’s not a glass in itself, its properties make it a type.

The experiment revealed that these people purchased a three-piece wheel made with bolt-on spokes, and then replaced it with plexiglass. After careful measurements, they custom-ordered their material from their supplier. This was a little disappointing. They used 20mm thick plexiglass for this experiment.

After making adjustments to the spokes, the men were able bolt them to the rim. Finally, they bolted them to the axle. The resulting product looks great on the black Mercedes 190E. We are not sure if it is possible.
