The 2013 Toyota GT 86 Cup Edition will be the safety car for this year’s VLN Endurance Racing Championship.

The 2013 Toyota GT 86 Cup Edition will be this year’s safety car in the VLN Endurance Racing Championship.

Toyota announced this special edition in March, when they said only 86 cars would be made and that all will be sold in Germany. It is mounted on OZ Ultraleggera 18-inch wheels and Pirelli P Zero Corsa GT rubbers, measuring 225/40 R18.

The limited-run model is priced at 2,860 EUR higher than the stock model. It also features Racing Red, Dynamic White Pearl, Furious Black Mica and Truly Black Mica colors on its hood, trunk lid, trunk lid, and exterior mirrors. Color accents have been added to the A-pillar, rear diffuser, and front spoiler.

Toyota Racing Development (TRD), an American company, upgraded the GT 86 Cup Edition to include quad exhaust pipes, rear diffuser, and side skirts. A carbon fiber strutbar was also added. The exterior features a stabilizer set, TRD’s foil wrap and a rear spoiler. Toyota claims that all of these goodies are also available for the GT 86 standard model.
