It still looks great, yep.
Ferrari’s Roma was a cherry on top of the mountain of supercar goodness the company had built this year. We were able to share two new Roma renderings of the Ferrari 5th Anniversary Model. While next year will be slower, it is still a great model.
Initial spy photos of the Roma referred to the model as a Ferrari Portofino coupe. However, rumors started to spread about the possibility that the model would be given a unique name. This is why the Roma convertible rendering looks so amazing. It does not feel like a prototype of a convertible Roma. It looks more like a next-gen Portofino despite the Portofino’s modern styling. Ferrari has not yet updated the Portofino, which has been in production only for a few year.
The Roma shooting brake is a smaller GTC4Lusso. The Roma’s rolling rear bumpers look great with the hatch and roof. Even the Roma’s lovely taillights blend with the shooting brake design. The only problem with its tiny footprint is the cramped rear seating, which are already terrible with the Portofino. However, the taller shooting brake roof could make short stays more livable.
The Roma is a new concept for Ferrari. Ferrari’s slowing down of its unveiling schedule is due to the fact that it wants to make sure the Roma and all other models this year sell well. The Roma is a less intimidating car for car-buyers and Ferrari hopes to tap into new customers. Although the design isn’t as extreme or wild as other Ferraris it still has an Italian flair.
It is subjective to say that it is less intimidating. The 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8 still makes 612 horsepower (456kilowatts). It can reach speeds of 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.4 seconds, and reaches a top speed exceeding 199 mph (322 kph). It’s not scary at all.
