For example, a base 2020 Nissan Versa S will include 15-inch steel wheels with full wheel covers. You will need to purchase the Versa SV for $2,910 more if you want 16 inch alloys. Let’s get down to the important part – creating your dream alloys. The Russian gurus used a standard steel wheel, but made several modifications to it. They added five large spokes and welded them to the main body of the wheel. The inner portion of the wheel is then removed and the new rim painted black with contrast silver for the spokes.
After the DIY Vossen-inspired wheel has been completed, it will need a matching tire and pass through the wheel balance machine. After all of that work is completed, it is time to mount the rim on the car. In this instance, the vehicle is an older, but still very attractive Mercedes-Benz 190E.
