This option is available on all models. It adds a variety of standard equipment.
Jeep is known for its off-road capabilities. This reputation also extends to all weather prowess and four-wheel drive capability. New North Edition models are being offered by the automaker to appeal to buyers who live in colder climates.
Jim Morrison, FCA’s North American head of Jeep, stated that “When winter comes, your Jeep SUV could be your best friend.” “Every Jeep 4×4 has been engineered to handle winter. Our new North Editions include features and technology that make winter driving more enjoyable.
What does the North Edition have to offer that is different from normal Jeeps? Nothing has changed in terms of performance. The North Edition offers a variety of standard equipment that can help the driver and passengers make it through cold days. Notable features include heated seats and a heated steering column. All-weather floormats and power heated mirrors are standard features. Remote start will heat up your Jeep even before you step outside.
Jeep’s Uconnect system and SiriusXM Travel Link Weather are not necessarily related to cold weather. North Editions come with tow hooks and Jeep’s Trail Rated Kit that includes a tow rope, D-rings carabiner and gloves as well as a safety kit. The North Edition is not considered a package by Jeep, so we don’t have to list any add-on prices. We are provided with a base price for all Jeep North Edition models.
