Porsche 935 Passenger Seat Is A $10,000 Option

This is a very expensive option, even for Porsche.

You’ve probably noticed that options can be quite expensive, whether you’re looking to buy a new Porsche or simply spend time customizing your specifications. This is especially true if the car you are purchasing is a limited-run special edition. The 911 GT2RS has a base price of $293,000. The 935 track-only revival costs more than that. Its starting price in Germany is EUR701,948 plus VAT. The price will be just below $780,000 if you convert to U.S. Dollars.

Manny Khoshbin , a businessman, is one of the 77 lucky customers who signed his name to the dotted line in order to claim the revival for the Moby Dick. He is about to receive the performance machine in Martini livery, but the passenger seat has already been delivered to his fancy office.

The 935 is a stripped-out 911 GT2 RS race car. It comes standard without a passenger seat in order to save weight. Porsche claims it weighs in at 1,380 kilograms (3.042 pounds). Dodge offered to return the Demon’s $1 passenger seat to the customer if they wanted to have a shotgun ride while you race on the track. However, it will cost them a lot. Khoshbin says that the lightweight seat made of carbon fiber and providing generous lateral support is possible to convert the 935 into two-seater.

Porsche offers many retro-flavored liveries for the 935, as well as a carbon fiber variant that can be used to customize the car.

The 911-generation 991-generation 911’s last chance at glory was the 935, which debuted in September 2018, as a tribute for the Porsche 935/78 Moby Dick of the late 1970s. In June 2018, customer deliveries began.
