2020 will see the introduction of a new supermini from Romania.
Renault’s 1999 purchase of Dacia to make it affordable and reliable has been a brilliant move. The Romanian automaker is now enjoying great success. Although cars like the Sandero / Sandero Stepway may seem outdated from a technological standpoint, as many of the superminis’ bones date back to 1998’s Renault Clio II, most buyers don’t care. Many people only care about getting to where they need to be while keeping within a budget. Dacia deliveries are just one example.
Next year’s Sandero will be a significant improvement on the current subcompact.Hatchback

Although it will not look as good as the Clio, nor have the same interior design and refinement as the Clio’s, the Sandero will bring many needed upgrades to the model. The engine options will likely mirror those of its Renault counterpart. However, we suspect that the turbocharged 1.33-liter motor with its seven-speed dual clutch automatic transmission won’t make it as the Clio’s top-spec Clio.
According to a report by French magazine , a Sandero with more power could be on the horizon. The crossover-inspired Stepway model will come with a hybrid powertrain that produces 140 horsepower. This is thanks to Renault’s ETech setup, which includes a naturally aspirated, 1.6-liter engine, an electric motor and a 1.2-kWh lithium ion battery.
The Dacia Logan sedan will be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in October 2020. However, we hope that the online debut will occur sooner than expected. Low pricing is crucial to the success and longevity of all Pitesti-built cars, so reports suggest that they will not increase by more than 200-300 Euros compared to the current model.
