The driver of the minivan is 90 millimeters (or 3.54 inches) taller than an A-Class.

The new B offers a greater view than a regular A Class thanks to its higher seating (+90 millimeters/ 3.54 inches). The MPV’s higher roofline provides a larger greenhouse, which increases visibility for both the driver and all passengers.
The minivan is initially available only with the seven- or eight-speed dual-clutch automated transmissions. There will be five engine options available at launch. All with four cylinders, and all with front-wheel drive.

Mercedes refers to other engines as well as the availability of 4Matic all-wheel driving. You can replace the standard fuel tank of 43 liters with a larger 51 liter tank if you are planning to take longer trips.
The European sales of the B-Class will begin December 3rd, with customer deliveries scheduled for February 2019.
