It is one of the most rare M5s in history.
The BMW HTML5 Competition Package offers the most powerful and fastest performance sedan. The M5 Competition Package is slightly faster than the regular M5 but has a slightly higher power output. It can also accelerate at 0-124 mph (0-200 km/h) acceleration. The M5 First Edition is the best choice if you are looking for the highest quality M5 production.
You won’t be able to purchase one right away, as only 400 units are available. If you missed your chance to order one, this video shows the car in action with lots of accelerations. It was made by AutoTopNL.
The sedan’s 4.4-liter V8 biturbo is under the hood. It’s finished in Individual Frozen Red Metallic. It’s tuned for 600 horsepower (447 Kilowatts) as well as 553 pound-feet (775 Newton-meters), of torque. These numbers can propel the super sedan, which weighs in at 4,089 pounds (1,855 kilogram), from a standstill to 62 MPH (100 km/h) in just 3.55 seconds.
Electronically, the top speed is limited to 155 mph (225 kph). However, for more daring drivers it will be possible to exceed this limiter at 189 mph (305 kph). The attached video doesn’t show the M5 going to its limits on German Autobahn. However, a previous YouTube video shows that the M5 only needs 32.5 seconds in order to reach the 186-mph mark (300-kph).
The new M5 is available in Europe already with prices starting from EUR117,900 for the non-First Edition model. The US prices for the performance sedan are $102,600 MSRP. This makes it $8,000. more expensive than its predecessor. Additional $18,300 is charged for the M5 First Edition package in addition to the base MSRP.
