This little guy is worth your attention.
You don’t need to own a powerful or expensive car to live a happy life. The story you’re about to read is yet another proof. Krystal Preston is a Fernley single mother with three children and three dogs. She recently received the gift of her dreams from her 13-year old son.
It is unfair to say that William Preston is the oldest man living in the house. He knows it is a burden. To make some extra cash for the family’s budget, he does yard and housework. William was inspired by YouTube videos where children surprise their mothers with cars and he decided to make her proud.
He found a woman selling an old Chevrolet Metro Metro on Facebook and reached out to her for a trade. She initially said no, but she eventually agreed to trade after more negotiations. “It was really expensive so I asked her if she could trade it or make it earn it. After she thought about it, she finally said yes.” William describes the negotiations with the Chevy Metro owner.
After they had agreed on the details, William returned home to tell his mom the good news. Krystal and William then met the woman who was selling the car, who drove them to her home to close the deal. Krystal acknowledges that the Metro is in need of some repairs but is still “perfect”.
“I was given the keys and paperwork for the car. I am freaking out, but also in shock. We got in the car and it started immediately. And off we went. My son is so proud of me. He is such an amazing kid. William, I love and appreciate you. You are so kind and generous. I posted this on Facebook. Since the event, nearly 2,000 people shared the story via social media.
